Technology classes designed to facilitate Science, Techneology, Engineering, and Math learning.

Materials we use are from Lego Education & MIT Media Lab.

Our classes provide hands-on projects in an educational setting to make learning fun!

Video Animation Gaming:
  • Using the program "Scratch", you will create animation, music videos, a Pacman-like video game & more.
  • Bring home your creations and software at the end of class.

Minecraft Adventure:
  • Play Minecraft while learning!
  • Address all of the 21st century skills: critical thinking, creativity, problem solving, decision making, collaboration & communication.
  • Bring a friend or make new ones and build together to survive!

Lego Robotics:

  • Lego Mindstorms presents kids with hands-on robotic activities.
  • We'll create & bring to life robots using Lego brick by building around a mini computer, and then programming it.

Coding in Minecraft:
  • Instructors: TechStars by Computer Explorers - for more computer descriptions or information call (203) 207-0020
  • This class is more than just "mining" and "crafting" in Minecraft.
  • Students will conceptualize, design and learn how to create mods & modify the game using an easy drop & drag interface.
  • This is a fun introduction to computer programming.
  • Share your mods with your friends & learn together.
